If you’re a bride (or just love weddings) and aren’t very familiar with all the wedding blogs out there – you’ll love this post! I love weddings. I love happy couples in love. I love wedding day details. And I love photography. I am constantly looking at wedding blogs to learn and be inspired by all of the amazing photographers out there.

Tips For Tuesdays: Flowers

BRIDALS | LAURA | TIPS FOR TUESDAYS | WEDDINGS

I know floral arrangements, bridal bouquets, bridesmaid’s bouquets, boutonnieres and so on can really add up and become expensive. However, as a photographer I can’t stress the difference paying attention to these details really matter. The right color combinations can really make portraits pop and can be another great way to express the bride’s personality.

Engagement: Kerrie & Craig | Sweetwater Creek State Park

ENGAGEMENTS | LAURA

I’m so excited to share Kerrie and Craig’s engagement session, which happens to also be my first session of 2012! We met at Sweetwater Creek State Park last weekend and the weather turned out to be perfect for January. Congratulations to you both! I’m looking forward to your wedding in April.

Kerrie Spence - Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures! Craig and I enjoyed having you as our photographer. We especially loved how you let us do some of our own poses, but still guided us in doing some of yours. I actually love the photos/poses you created more than I like my own! :) You were easy to work with, comfortable, and you helped put Craig at ease behing a camera lens (which is VERY difficult, lol). I look forward to using you for future pictures and I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know! You’re very talented. I like the pictures of the new engaged couple too!!! The coffee idea is awesome. :)
