Wedding: Tiffany & Joe | The Cotton Warehouse | Monroe, Georgia

Tiffany and Joe are married!! I must say I’m so glad they were my first wedding of 2013. They were both so excited, so ready, and so in love! Their wedding was full of all kinds of rustic goodness (e.g. burlap, chevron, brick) and they picked a perfect venue to match their wedding, The Cotton Warehouse. If you’ve never been there, The Cotton Warehouse is definitely worth the drive. What more could a photographer ask for?!

Tiffany surprised Joe with the droid avatar as his groom’s cake!

So many emotions in this next photo. Tiffany was overwhelmed with her love for Joe!

I loved the reaction of Tiffany’s Dad when he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.

Tiffany, you were a gorgeous bride!!

Love these!!

Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Griffith!!

Tiffany & Joe – Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I loved watching you two become husband and wife! And thank you, thank you, thank you for this thoughtful necklace! I love it! Best wishes! XOXO Laura

Atlanta Photo Meetup with Katelyn James

A few months back I joined a photography group that meets up once a month in Atlanta. We normally have a pretty amazing speaker, but when I learned April’s speaker was Katelyn James I was shocked and so excited! Katelyn James is an incredible wedding photographer from Richmond, Virginia. I’ve been following/reading/stalking her blog for close to two years now.. and she blogs every single day! It sort of felt like I was meeting someone famous! She spoke a lot about business – mainly focusing on serving your clients and forming a community and relationship with them. True words, and I have so many great ideas – stay tuned friends!

Huge thanks to my friend Brittany (Brita Photography) for taking this photo! And another huge thanks to Ashley & Graham Scobey for putting together these photo meetups!
